Basketball Game Preview: Englewood Rams vs. ED White Commanders

Englewood is 0-10 against ED White since November of 2017 but things could change on Thursday. Having just played yesterday, the Rams will head out on the road to face off against the Commanders at 6:00 p.m.

On Wednesday, Englewood took a blow against West Nassau, falling 57-17.

Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for ED White on Tuesday. They took down Sandalwood 53-36. The Commanders haven't had any issues with the Saints recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

ED White's win came from a few key players that Englewood will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Imani Henderson, who posted eight points in addition to 14 rebounds and eight steals. What's more, she posted four blocks, the most she's had since back in December of 2025. Redriaunna Mitchell was another key player, putting up six points along with ten boards and six steals.

ED White smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 28 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

ED White's record is now 14-9. As for Englewood, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-13.

Englewood was taken down by ED White 62-12 in their previous meeting back in February of 2025. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
