Baseball Recap: Bishop McGuinness Takes a Loss

Bishop McGuinness was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 7-2 to the Bethany Bronchos. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bronchos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 on Monday.

Bishop McGuinness' loss dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Bethany, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop McGuinness will challenge Putnam City North at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bethany, they will square off against Mount St. Mary at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
