Baseball Recap: Garland Takes a Loss

Garland fell victim to Cedar Hill and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cedar Hill Longhorns. That's two games in a row now that the Owls have lost by exactly four runs.

Garland's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Cedar Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1-1.

Looking ahead, Garland will take on Bowie at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Bowie will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Garland surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cedar Hill, they will be taking part in a tournament against Sam Houston at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Cedar Hill's pitching crew has only allowed 1.8 runs per game this season, so Sam Houston's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
