Baseball Recap: St. Joseph Comes Up Short

If St. Joseph was riding high fresh off their 20-9 takedown of Monroe Township on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons fell 5-0 to the Edison Eagles on Monday. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

St. Joseph's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Edison, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-10.

Coming up, St. Joseph will head out on the road to take on St. Thomas Aquinas at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Edison will be paying especially close attention to the Falcons' contest: after the Falcons face off against the Trojans, they'll take on Edison again at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
