Recap: McGill-Toolen Yellowjackets vs. Theodore Bobcats
The McGill-Toolen Yellowjackets lost against the Theodore Bobcats back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. McGill-Toolen took a serious blow against Theodore, falling 42-7. McGill-Toolen has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Andrew Murchison threw for 114 yards and a touchdown. Tylan Stanton was his top target, picking up 39 receiving yards and no touchdowns. On the ground, Jack Lenaghan rushed for 44 yards.
McGill-Toolen's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Theodore, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
McGill-Toolen will be playing at home against Blount at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Blount is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Theodore, they will head out on the road to face off against Saraland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Saraland is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
