Softball Game Preview: Tascosa Rebels vs. Lubbock Westerners

The Tascosa Rebels will head out to square off against the Lubbock Westerners at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tascosa will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Tascosa saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 5-1 win over Muenster.

The team relied heavily on Kassidy Langeland, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Lubbock suffered their biggest defeat since March 18, 2024 on Friday. They lost 10-3 to Stephenville. The Westerners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lubbock's loss dropped their record down to 7-4-1. As for Tascosa, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Tascosa came out on top in a nail-biter against Lubbock when the teams last played back in February of 2023, sneaking past 5-3. Does Tascosa have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lubbock turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
