Basketball Recap: Nanwalek Comes Up Short

Nanwalek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 71-58 to the Ninilchik Wolverines. If Nanwalek was looking for revenge after losing 81-50 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

It was another big night for Kade McCorison, who dropped a triple-double on 25 points, ten rebounds, and 14 assists for Ninilchik. The contest was McCorison's 17th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Andon McCorison, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 boards.

Nanwalek's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Ninilchik, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Ninilchik beat Nanwalek by a score of 87-64 on Saturday.
