While Rampart's win against Palmer Ridge wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rams had just enough and edged out the Bears 12-11 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rams have posted since March 22nd.

Rampart got a massive performance out of Duke Pingrey, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases Pingrey has posted since back in April of 2024. Cash Carpio also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Rampart's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-13. As for Palmer Ridge, their record is now 4-16.

Coming up, Rampart will be playing at home against Vista Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Palmer Ridge, they will head out on the road to face off against Air Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bears' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Kadets have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
