Warwick Veterans made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 11,005 from 11,865. The improvement was the result of 37-6 victory over the Hurricanes last week.
Chariho's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Hayden Pryor threw for 36 yards and Willie Flynn had 30 yards receiving. On the ground Austin McQuaide chipped in 236 yards. Jake Whan helped Chariho's passing attack out by catching one ball for six yards.
On the ground, the Chargers' McQuaide has rushed for 820 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Mike Pagliarini. The Chariho star has 10 catches for 158 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Warwick Veterans takes on Westerly. At the moment, Michael Nappa's team is in fourth, while the Bulldogs are in second.
Coventry led the league in scoring this week after putting up 41 points on Pilgrim.
