After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Whitesburg Christian Academy finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brewer Patriots. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Whitesburg Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Brewer, the victory snapped their losing streak at eight games and leaves them with a 11-13 record.

Looking ahead, Whitesburg Christian Academy will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Elkmont at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Warriors 3.8, the Red Devils 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
