Baseball Recap: Molalla's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If Molalla was riding high fresh off their 13-5 takedown of Dallas on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Molalla fell just short of the Philomath Warriors by a score of 4-2 on Monday. The loss put an end to the Indians' undefeated start to the season.

Molalla saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camdyn Morey, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Morey is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Molalla fell to 2-1. Philomath has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Molalla will venture away from home to take on Newport on Tuesday. As for Philomath, they will head out to square off against Marist at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
