Basketball Recap: Manchester Comes Up Short

Manchester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 64-41 to the Michigan Center Cardinals. While losing is never fun, the Flying Dutchmen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 610th, while the Cardinals are ranked 142nd).

Manchester's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Michigan Center, their victory bumped their record up to 13-3.

Manchester will take on Grass Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Grass Lake will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something Manchester surely won't give up without a fight. Michigan Center has already played their next game, a 41-38 defeat against Onsted on the 1st.
