Basketball Game Preview: Pigeon Forge Tigers vs. Alcoa Tornadoes

Pigeon Forge hasn't had much luck against Alcoa recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Pigeon Forge Tigers will host the Alcoa Tornadoes at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Pigeon Forge took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with a 53-45 win over Oneida.

Meanwhile, Alcoa entered their tilt with Gatlinburg-Pittman on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They came out on top against the Highlanders by a score of 68-59.

Alcoa is also on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Pigeon Forge, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
