Basketball Recap: Christ Presbyterian Academy Takes a Loss

Christ Presbyterian Academy lost against Brentwood Academy back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Christ Presbyterian Academy Lions fell to the Brentwood Academy Eagles 57-53. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Christ Presbyterian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Brentwood Academy, they pushed their record up to 10-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Christ Presbyterian Academy and Brentwood Academy could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings. Christ Presbyterian Academy (ranked 120th) will meet Ensworth (ranked 16th) at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th. Meanwhile, Brentwood Academy will take on Montgomery Bell Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday down 43 places (48 vs. 5).
