Jones barely beat Rockport-Fulton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 3-0 win on Friday. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Jones' got stronger as the match went on, holding Rockport-Fulton to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-17, 25-14.

Jones' record is now 34-5. As for Rockport-Fulton, they dropped their record down to 16-13 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Jones is set to take on their familiar foe Ingleside at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rockport-Fulton will challenge rival Sinton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
