Archbishop Carroll won the last time they faced Mater Bay Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Rays by a score of 3-1.

Archbishop Carroll was especially dominant in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-17, 24-26, 25-12.

Despite the defeat, Mater Bay Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kevin Lorenzo had 13 kills and six blocks. Lorenzo is on a roll when it comes to kills, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Archbishop Carroll's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Mater Bay Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-10 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Archbishop Carroll will be playing at home against Colonial Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mater Bay Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Somerset College Prepartory Academy South on the 9th.
