Football Recap: West Mesquite Skates Past Adams with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Mesquite). They blew past the Adams Cougars 70-3 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Wranglers, who have now won six games by 28 points or more so far this season.

The victory (which was West Mesquite's sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.0 points on average over those games. As for Adams, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Coincidentally, West Mesquite and Adams will both be playing Creekview the next time they take the field. The Cougars will host the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Wranglers will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
