Irvin kept a clean sheet against Clint on Tuesday. They beat the Clint Lions by a goal, winning 1-0. For the Rockets, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-10-1. As for Clint, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Irvin will challenge Mountain View at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Irvin's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 13 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Clint, they will venture away from home to face off against Harmony Science Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Clint's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
