Soccer Game Preview: Nipomo vs. McFarland

The Nipomo Titans will take on the McFarland Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Nipomo is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season.

Nipomo is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against St. Joseph by a score of 4-2. The result kept the Titans happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 2nd.

They hit St. Joseph with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Juan Diego Zarate (2), Casey Lemus, and Jaeden Arreguin.

Meanwhile, McFarland hadn't done well against Arvin recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. McFarland walked away with a 3-1 win over Arvin.

Nipomo pushed their record up to 11-6 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 32 goals over those six games. As for McFarland, the win got them back to even at 9-9.
