Moriarty came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They took a blow against the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes, falling 52-19. The match marked the Pintos' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Moriarty's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Pojoaque Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 16-9 record this season.
