Volleyball Recap: West Caldwell Tech Comes Up Short

West Caldwell Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Lenape Indians.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 29-27.

Timothy Smith paced West Caldwell Tech's offense, picking up ten kills. Smith got some help from Dennis Ayora and his 21 assists. Finally, Ibrahim Dessources kept West Caldwell Tech's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

West Caldwell Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Lenape, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

West Caldwell Tech didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against East Side on the 24th. As for Lenape, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Northern Burlington on the 25th.
