Clifton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They never let the Columbia Cougars get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory.

Clifton's win bumped their record up to 5-2-1. As for Columbia, they now have a losing record of 5-6-1.
