Softball Recap: Saturday's Loss Ends Alta Loma's Winning Streak

Alta Loma and St. Paul squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Alta Loma had to settle for second. They fell 6-2 to the Swordsmen. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Braves couldn't push the score so high this time.

With the loss, Alta Loma broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-9. As for St. Paul, the victory got them back to even at 14-14.

Alta Loma does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Paul, they will face off against Marina at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Swordsmen will need to watch out since the Vikings have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
