Basketball Recap: Coleman Takes a Loss

On Tuesday, the Coleman Cougars came up short against the Cambria-Friesland Hilltoppers and fell 64-52. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Coleman's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Cambria-Friesland, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coleman will venture away from home to challenge Niagara at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Niagara has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Cambria-Friesland, they will head out to face off against Montello at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Montello knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Cambria-Friesland likes a good challenge.
