Softball Recap: Hector Wildcats vs. Atkins Red Devils
After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last six games, Hector finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They came up short against the Atkins Red Devils, falling 6-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Wildcats were not able to get on the board.

Atkins will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Perryville at 4:30 p.m. on April 1st. Perryville is on a six-game streak of home wins, Atkins a five-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field.
