Softball Recap: Kathleen Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Kathleen and Lakeland squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Kathleen had to settle for second. They came up short against the Dreadnaughts, falling 15-0. The Red Devils just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Kathleen's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Lakeland, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-12.

Kathleen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lakeland, they will take on Sebring at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Dreadnaughts' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blue Streaks have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season.
