Softball Recap: Brushton-Moira Comes Up Short

Brushton-Moira lost against Peru back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Panthers lost 29-8 to the Nighthawks.

Lillian Jones made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Aryiah Clark was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two RBI and one run.

Brushton-Moira's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Peru, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Brushton-Moira will take on Tupper Lake at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Peru, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 8-6 loss against Saranac on the 29th.
