Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Immaculata-La Salle + How To Watch

While Immaculata-La Salle didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Ransom Everglades Raiders by a score of 59-52 on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Royal Lions sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Immaculata-La Salle's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayquan Freeman, who posted 16 points and seven rebounds. The matchup was Freeman's seventh in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Lucas Piedra, who scored 14 points and eight boards.

Despite the loss, Ransom Everglades still got an impressive performance from Dimitri Tatulishvili, who shot 42% from the field to rack up 20 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. Tatulishvili is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 67% in the last three games he's played. Isaac Weinberg also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

Immaculata-La Salle's record now sits at 5-2. As for Ransom Everglades, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Immaculata-La Salle wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 63-53 defeat against Archbishop Carroll on the 10th. As for Ransom Everglades, they have also already played their next game, a 67-57 loss against Coral Reef on the 10th.
