Volleyball Recap: Cosumnes Oaks Takes a Loss

Cosumnes Oaks came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Monterey Trail Mustangs, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Wolfpack in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost four in a row.

Cosumnes Oaks was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Monterey Trail work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 28-26, 25-15.

Cosumnes Oaks' loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Monterey Trail, they pushed their record up to 15-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
