Sweetwater entered their tilt with Imperial on Tuesday with nine consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with ten. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Red Devils, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-16.

Jaeden Brown paced Sweetwater's offense, picking up seven kills. Brown got some help from Sergio Salazar and his 18 assists. Brown was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Sweetwater's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-2. As for Imperial, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.

Coming up, Sweetwater will challenge Hilltop at 5:00 p.m. on the 2nd. As for Imperial, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Calexico on the 27th.
