Basketball Recap: Arlington Find Success

Arlington's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They managed a 53-49 win over the Boone Central Cardinals.

Trent Koger was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 29 points and 18 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in steals (four). Oliver Ladehoff was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Arlington's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 13-10. As for Boone Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-10 record this season.

Arlington will head out to challenge Concordia at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Boone Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
