There's no place like home for Parkland, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Wednesday. They put the hurt on the East Stroudsburg South Cavaliers with a sharp  9-1 win on Thursday. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive  victory against them.
 Allison Hunsberger made a splash no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run over seven innings pitched. Hunsberger was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Maria Moore was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with one  double and one  RBI.
Parkland's record is now 4-5. As for East Stroudsburg South, they dropped their record down to 5-7 with the  defeat, which was their fourth straight  on the road.
 Looking ahead, Parkland will challenge Pleasant Valley at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bears have averaged an impressive 8.9  runs per game this season. As for East Stroudsburg South, they will face off against Allentown Central Catholic at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.1  runs per game on average), something the Cavaliers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
