Softball Recap: North Moore Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

North Moore never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Graham Red Devils with a sharp 13-0 win. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by seven runs or more this season.

Macey Jackson made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Calissa Clendenin and Ansley Preslar did most of the damage at the plate: Clendenin scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4, while Preslar went 2-for-3 with two triples, two RBI, and one run. That's the most runs Clendenin has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Haley Havner, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

North Moore pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Graham, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Moore will host Chatham Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Graham, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Greater Vision Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
