Soccer Game Preview: Williston vs. Dixie County

The Williston Red Devils will square off against the Dixie County Bears at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Dixie County took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Williston, who comes in off a win.

Williston took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They blew past Lafayette 9-1. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Dixie County fell victim to Newberry and their airtight defense on Monday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Williston's victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Dixie County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6-1.

Williston took their win against Dixie County in their previous meeting on Saturday by a conclusive 5-1. Will Williston repeat their success, or does Dixie County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
