After losing to Wildwood the last time they met, Hawthorne Math & Science Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Hawthorne Math & Science Academy The Aviators  managed  a  49-44 victory over the Wildwood Wolves  on Tuesday. The  win was nothing new for the The Aviators  as they're now sitting on three straight.
 Wildwood's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Zane Bryant, who  went 5 for 11  on his way to 17 points.  Jonah Spitz was another key player,  dropping  a double-double on 13  points and 12  boards.
The  victory  got Hawthorne Math & Science Academy back to even at 5-5. As for Wildwood, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the  loss, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hawthorne Math & Science Academy has  already played their next  game (against California Academy of Math & Science), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wildwood will be playing in front of their home fans against Vistamar  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Vistamar knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Wildwood likes a good challenge.
