Baseball Recap: Central Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

Central had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Central Cambria on Friday. The Dragons put the hurt on the Red Devils with a sharp 13-3 win. The Dragons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by ten runs or more this season.

Mason Byler made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Troy McNichol, who went 4-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lukas Black, who scored three runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
