The Polynesian Bowl is becoming one of the fastest growing events in high school football.

Last year's Polynesian Bowl featured some of the best players in the country and the 2019 Poly Bowl is loaded with some of the best talent in the nation. And now, the 2020 version is off to a hot start.

Organizers announced Tuesday that the No. 1 quarterback from the Class of 2020 — DJ Uiagalelei — is the first player committed.

The 5-star talent from St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.) checks in as the No. 8 player overall on 247sports player composite rankings and has already landed nearly 30 division one offers.

This means that St. John Bosco will have sent at least one player to the Polynesian Bowl four straight years. The Braves are sending six players for the 2019 game led by 5-star cornerback Chris Steele.
