Minisink Valley extended their winning streak to seven on Friday, bumping them up to 7-0. They put the hurt on the Warwick Wildcats with a sharp 37-13 win. Considering the Warriors have won four contests by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

As for Warwick, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. While losing is never fun, they can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 298th, while Minisink Valley is ranked 58th).

Warwick lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Daniel Lupkovich, who threw for 147 yards and one touchdown.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Minisink Valley will welcome Port Jervis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders' defense has only allowed 8.7 points per game this season, so the Warriors' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Warwick, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Roosevelt at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
