Basketball Recap: Clearview Comes Up Short

Clearview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were dealt a 74-32 loss at the hands of the Tuslaw Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Clippers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 710th, while the Mustangs are ranked 158th).

Tuslaw's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Breanna McCabe, who went 13-for-16 to rack up 28 points and three blocks. McCabe is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 46% in the last 15 games she's played. Destiny Dulkoski was another key player, going 9-for-11 en route to 20 points and six boards.

Clearview's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Tuslaw, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Clearview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tuslaw, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-30 victory against Berkshire on the 18th.
