Football Game Preview: Palmyra-Eagle vs. Parkview

Parkview will challenge Palmyra-Eagle on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Parkview are limping into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

There's no need to mince words: Parkview lost to Horicon/Hustisford last Friday, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 12-55. Parkview were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 6-28.

Meanwhile, Palmyra-Eagle came into their this week averaging 33.83 points per game, but Palmyra-Eagle fell well short of that average, and it cost them. They lost to Markesan by a decisive 6-26 margin. Palmyra-Eagle's low-scoring loss was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the game before.

Parkview found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-30 punch to the gut against Palmyra-Eagle the last time the two teams met. Can Parkview avenge their defeat, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
