Softball Game Preview: St. Bede Bruins vs. Seneca Fighting Irish

For the second straight game, St. Bede will face off against Seneca. The Bruins will challenge the Fighting Irish at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Bede's hitters haven't had much luck over their past three games, but Tuesday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

Seneca hit St. Bede with a four-run third inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bruins lost 6-0 to the Fighting Irish. That's two games in a row now that the Bruins have lost by exactly six runs.

The win keeps Seneca at an undefeated 28-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 10.5 runs this season. As for St. Bede, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-11.
