Baseball Recap: Faith Christian's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Faith Christian suffered their biggest loss since June 1, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against the Immanuel Baptist Fire, falling 13-3. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Faith Christian's biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Eli Smith was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.

Faith Christian's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-3. As for Immanuel Baptist, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Faith Christian will head out to challenge Bethany Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Immanuel Baptist does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
