St. Francis waltzed into their game  on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with  a   3-1  victory over the Chaminade Eagles. The Golden Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.
 St. Francis was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 26-28, 25-10,  25-15.
 Matthew Polenzani paced St. Francis' offense, picking up 18 kills. Polenzani got some help from  Gabriel Heim Benoit and his 43 assists.
St. Francis' win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 14-6. As for Chaminade,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 4-5.
 Looking ahead, St. Francis will challenge La Salle at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. La Salle will roll in looking for their  14th straight  victory, something St. Francis surely won't give up without a fight. As for Chaminade, they will square off against Bishop Alemany at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
