Basketball Recap: Forest Lake Christian Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Chesterton Academy of Sacramento on Thursday, Forest Lake Christian came back down to earth. The Falcons came up short against the Bear River Bruins on Monday, falling 62-36. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Bruins recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Despite the loss, Forest Lake Christian still got an impressive performance from Brendan Hooper, who posted 20 points and six steals. Hooper's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Stosen, who had nine points and seven rebounds.

Forest Lake Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bear River, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Forest Lake Christian will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Highlands at 5:00 p.m. on December 4. As for Bear River, they will venture away from home to square off against Gridley at 7:30 p.m. on December 2.
