Basketball Recap: Los Osos Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Los Osos posted their closest victory since November 25, 2025 on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Upland Highlanders/Scots, sneaking past 63-60. Given the Grizzlies' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 214th, while the Highlanders/Scots are ranked 586th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win was the third in a row for Los Osos, bringing their record up to 16-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points over those games. As for Upland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.
