Basketball Game Preview: Hernando Christian Academy Lions vs. Seven Rivers Christian Warriors + How To Watch

Hernando Christian Academy hasn't had much luck against Seven Rivers Christian recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Lions are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Hernando Christian Academy was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 19-18 to Angeline Academy of Innovation.

Meanwhile, Seven Rivers Christian came up short against Academy at the Lakes on Tuesday and fell 38-28.

Hernando Christian Academy will have to keep a close watch on Mariella De Beer and Natalee Tidwell, a pair of players who had a big impact on Seven Rivers Christian's prior game. De Beer dropped a double-double with 16 points and 17 rebounds, while Tidwell posted nine points and six boards. De Beer is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last nine games she's played dating back to last season.

Hernando Christian Academy was taken down by Seven Rivers Christian 57-15 when the teams last played back in January. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Lions were down 41-6.
