Chase Foley was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Vela, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
Center Point's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Sonora, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-10.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing San Saba the next time they take the field. Center Point will host San Saba at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, while Sonora will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
