Piedmont never let their opponents score on Monday. They put the hurt on the Eisenhower Eagles with a sharp 10-0 victory. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Wildcats this season.

Piedmont has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Eisenhower, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Piedmont will have a chance to go back-to-back against Eisenhower: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
