Volleyball Recap: DeLand-Weldon Eagles vs. Urbana University Illineks
If Urbana University wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played DeLand-Weldon, they should've done a better job of containing Addison Roos. The Eagles walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Illineks on Thursday for which the team can thank Roos, who had five digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played.
DeLand-Weldon easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14.
