 The Taylor County Bulldogs will head out on the road to  take on  the Chiles Timberwolves at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. Taylor County will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
 Taylor County is hoping to deliver their fans another blowout  on Monday, just like they did against Lafayette (and have done all season long). Taylor County put the hurt on Lafayette with a sharp  12-2 win on Thursday.
  Hannah Shiver spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two  runs (both of which were unearned)  on one hit and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in 11 consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Emma Kirkland was  incredible,  going 3-for-5 with four  RBI and a  double. Another player making a difference was  Kiersten Carter, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-5.
 Meanwhile,  Chiles unfortunately witnessed the end of their  four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took  an  8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Madison County.
 Chiles also got a good showing from  Grace Xu, who   pitched 3.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   six  hits.
 At the plate,  Adelyn Matthews was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.  Kelsey Marschka was another key contributor,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI and a  double.
 Taylor County's victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 15-5. As for Chiles, their loss  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 6-13.
 Chiles' hitters will have their work cut out for them  on Monday. Taylor County has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 8.2  strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Chiles, though, as  they've been averaging  only 3.1. Will Taylor County keep running through batters, or will Chiles buck the trend?
